Ours Is A Special Order

One day a gentleman walks into a restaurant and after going through the menu, he orders for some food. After some time another group of people walks in and they also order food for them. After a while to his dismay, those people get served first.He watches them as they began to eat and laugh heartily. He even overheard one of them brag about how he knew everyone at that restaurant and how things moved fast for him there. He felt he was being mocked. He contemplated of leaving, but he waits for some more time.

Time has been passing by, but order is getting delayed. Unable to take it anymore, he called the waiter and spoke rather verbosely of how unfair things were. The waiter calmly told him, "Sir, yours is a special order which is being prepared by the chief chef himself. Other people orders were prepared hurriedly by interns because the top chefs are busy with yours. That’s why they came first. Please have some juice as you wait." The gentleman calmed down without understanding anything and waited.

Shortly after a while his meal was served by six waiters. Unknown to him, the owner of the hotel who happened to be an old long-lost friend of his had seen him coming and wanted to surprise him and had made changes to his simple meal to make it a five-star meal. The people at the other table were shocked. They couldn't stop staring. Now, they start murmuring to each other, why they didn't get that kind of service and meal.

So friends, life is also like this. Some people are ahead of you, laugh at you on how they’re blessed and rich and how they’re enjoying life. You have been waiting long to wonder why it's taking so long to get your breakthrough, enduring the mockery and humiliation. Maybe you have contemplated suicide, gone through depression or suffered severe mental anxiety. Do not worry. The owner of the world has seen you and doesn't want to give you simple meals like those laughing at you. And you’re waiting longer because yours is a special order and a special meal which takes time where only chief chefs make it. Take heart today. Wait for your meal (Hebrews 6:15) and relax. When it comes, the people who laughed at you will be silenced.

It may seem like you are being ignored, but God has you covered.God is faithful. He is a God of compensation and will not forget the time we spent waiting on him. be Blessed.
